The villa, originally commissioned by the illustrious Chigi family and designed by the renown Sienese architect Baldassare Tommaso Peruzzi, has been extended and enhanced over the centuries, and has recently undergone a complete restoration whilst remaining faithful to the original design. It has grown larger and more beautiful over the centuries and the most recent restoration has created a fabulous contemporary Tuscan estate, using some of Italy’s best craftsmanship to ensure that nothing has spoilt the property’s original features.
The grounds, enticing and lovely by day and beautifully lit with candles, fire pits and other outdoor lighting at night are extraordinary and include a magnificent travertine infinity pool, with views over the estate’s private lake. There’s a superb expansive terrace bedecked with high quality parasols and sun loungers. The pool area also has a welcoming rain shower for cooling down on hot summer days. For those seeking shade there’s a seating area under a pergola where guests can be served from the excellent external kitchen with its Pizza oven, gas-fired BBQ, hob, dishwasher and fridge with icemaker.

GARDENS: Manicured lawns and flower beds beautifully presented around the villa, with palm trees and olive trees all around. Large gazebos offer a relaxing area.

Welcome fruit and wine hamper; Daily Morning Housekeeping Service 1 person of staff for 2 hours a day from 9AM to 11AM Monday to Saturday; Change of all linen once a week on arrival; Wi-Fi, Water, Electricity (Air Conditioning), Gas (Heating) consumption is included – Please note that more hours of cleaning may be needed, depending on the size and habits of group.
