Lovingly groomed and cared for, the villa rises within the owners’ large estate, and offers its guests a unique vacation venue including over 7 hectares of private grounds, which include green lawns enhanced by statues, a gorgeous swimming pool surrounded by pine trees, a tennis court, bowling court and an authentic ancient amphitheatre.

The villa itself, a truly outstanding original Renaissance building, rises among balmy pine trees and century-old cypresses, and boasts breathtaking 360° views of the surroundings from the park, terrace and grand windows. The interiors are spellbinding: superbly furnished and restored, it is fully equipped with state-of-the-art modern facilities and embellished by deluxe amenities and yet it perfectly preserves the magnificent original architectural structure, style and atmosphere. Including full air-conditioning throughout, Villa Tavernaccia offers top-notch comfort, refined ambiance and stupendous dècor in gorgeous, authentic premises.

The villa accommodates up to 16 guests in its 8 finely appointed double bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom. The guestrooms include two rooms with twin beds, and six with a king size bed and are all truly charming: decorated and furnished in style, all boast exquisite furniture, beautiful fabrics and tasteful touches, guaranteeing guests enjoy maximum privacy and comfort and… the sweetest dreams!

The ensuite bathrooms are lovely, fully equipped with modern facilities and deluxe Ortigia amenities, and there is a very convenient smaller bathroom located on the ground floor, perfect for guests or staff use.

Villa Tavernaccia boasts lovely common areas: welcoming, cozy and elegant. Furnished with special pieces and antiques, the villa includes a charming kitchen and a splendid dining room which make all meals, from fun family luncheons to refined dinners, a marvelous experience.

Guests at Villa Tavernaccia may simply lay back and enjoy the villa’s atmosphere, including the two living rooms and study, there is space for all to relax or entertain. The charming smaller sitting room and the study are ideal for leisurely moments, listening to music and reading. The grander living room, located on the top floor, is a spectacular room boasting awe-striking views of the hillside and vineyards which spread as far as Fiesole and Volterra.

The estate’s full grounds are truly extensive and 7 hectares of marvelous gardens are reserved for private use of the villa’s guests. The private park includes splendidly kept lawns, enhanced by ancient statues and filled with bountiful flowers and century-old trees. The park boasts a gleaming infinity swimming pool, which may be heated on request, a bountiful vegetable garden, a tennis court and a clay bowling court. The garden also includes two lovely outdoor alfresco areas: a patio by the villa, and a brand new gazebo in the Italian garden, right inside the ancient amphitheatre. Both are sheltered, ideal for cocktails, dining, relaxing and entertaining.
