Immersed in the green of the Umbrian hills, situated in the area of the middle valley of the Tevere, La Villa is located at an altitude of 450 mt above sea level. Extended over 65 hectares, 6.5 of which are designed for grapes production, for its position it benefits from a microclimate favourable to vines. A classical Italian architectonic structure, a blending of vineyards in an Umbrian hilly area, a succession of organized spaces like a patio, a greenhouse, and an infinity pool that is visually striking: all of these things create a magical setting. Every external space is livable and shareable and is treated like a unique setting, where the utmost attention is paid to every detail to make it a jewel nestled in nature and perfectly integrated with its surrounding. The 2 Luxury bedrooms and 2 Studios are very spacious and recently renovated. A classically modern setting that can narrate the past through the present. The adjoining house has 2 apartments with an integrated kitchen and a view of the whole of Perugia. The silence and the foresight give a feeling of calm and balance. Both areas can be inhabited independently. The wine cellar is located in the Dependance.
Living
Living The interiors of La Villa are in an elegant and rigorous style, with an sophisticated atmosphere. The wide living area, with windows on all sides, bright during the day and illuminated by a dim light during the evening, infuses a sense of intimacy that continues in the rooms and the other areas. A classically modern setting that can narrate the past through the present. The 2 luxury bedrooms and 2 Studios in the Main house are very spacious and recently renovated. Every piece of furniture is softly modern and combined with the exterior’s settings through big glass windows.
Sleeping
All 6 suites/rooms are designed differently but have a memorable style and classic Italian flair. Furnished with a king-size bed and comfortable sofa, each room has its own bathroom with bath and shower. Stylish decoration with warm colours gives you an immediate feeling of well-being.
Kitchen
The perfectly equipped kitchen with large work surface and beautiful view of the vineyards helps to make the cooking experience very special. A large French door leads out onto the terrace with stunning views where the freshly prepared meal can be eaten. All fresh ingredients can be sourced locally and traditional foods such as salami and mozzarella can be bought at the local market close by. You can also ask our private chef to prepare a typical Italian meal for you at any time, so you don’t have to worry about anything but enjoying the evening, maybe even with a wine from our vineyard.
Outdoor
Over 300 m2 of terrace and many covered areas with handmade Italian furniture are the perfect place to relax or perhaps even get creative. The wide view over the valley, the greenery everywhere and the vineyards give the place a tranquillity that makes you forget everything outside. Slow living and getting back to inner serenity are the key ingredients here.
Pool
The 20 m gigantic infinty pool with 360 degree view of the Umbrian nature invites you to spend the whole day. Next to the pool are large sunbeds and small tables for reading, sleeping and relaxing. There are also nice umbrellas if you need some sun. Next to the pool there are private toilets and showers so you can freshen up without getting the house wet.
Location
Holidays in Umbria take you to a region of intimate hilltowns, some inhabited since the Etruscans called this part of Italy home. Its rolling hills and inviting valleys offer a riot of colourful wildflowers in the spring, and are crisscrossed by bike and walking trails, some of which follow the route taken by St Francis. In some parts of this impressive landscape there’s a silence that’s difficult to find in other parts of the country.
