The estate is comprised of a magnificent 15th century villa with a beautiful swimming pool on 24 hectares of carefully groomed grounds.
Villa le Rose appears, like a splendid oasis, at the end of an impressive cypress-lined private drive. The gardens are mesmerizing; boasting century old trees, thick hedges and luscious lawns with rose bushes, lemon plants and jasmine. The villa, framed by an ancient scalloped stone wall, is a gem of beauty and elegance. Dating back to the 15th century it boasts exceptional artistic features: an original Luca della Robbia ceramic Madonna decorates the Loggia, and you will find antique mirrors, chandeliers and many frescoes throughout the villa.
Villa le Rose comfortably accommodates 15 guests in its exquisitely furnished guestrooms, each with its own ensuite deluxe bathroom complete of all modern amenities; the villa may actually host up to a maximum of 19 guests and 2 infants, if sofa beds, cots are used and roll away beds (4) are used. The villa’s lovely bedrooms is comprised of 5 suites, 1 on the ground floor the others on first floor, as well as 1 standard double room and a triple room.
The 5 bedroom suites all have king size beds and one of the suites has a queen size sofa bed as well, which may accommodate 2 additional persons; the other four suites can host one extra roll away bed each (available on request at extra cost) for an additional guest/child. There are also 2 cots available for small children. The cozy triple room with three oversized single beds, is ideal for teens and/or children. All bedrooms are charming, unique, furnished with Empire style furniture, with frescoes and luscious textiles.
The entertaining areas are truly stunning, with a marvelously frescoed ballroom (a superb space for memorable parties!) enhanced by a grand Steinway piano, an elegant dining room, charming study/TV viewing sitting room and a lovely library. The villa’s country-style kitchen is magnificent. Spacious and fully equipped, with a large fireplace perfect for grilling, it is the ideal room for family meals, relaxing breakfasts, informal get-togethers and… experimenting local recipes!
