This recently renovated 1880s barn, located just minutes from Siena in the Tuscan hills, features three floors and offersproximity to iconic Tuscan landmarks, hiking and bike trails, wineries, and restaurants.

The villa offers a secure, fenced pool, an alfresco dining area ideal for family dinners, a wellness area for relaxation, and unique views of the Siena hills.

The architecture and rural style of the building remain preserved, while the interiors have been reinterpreted to blend tradition with modern design, local character (or genius loci), and eclectic influences. The design draws inspiration from a traditional Tuscan farmhouse, or ‘casale,’ incorporating raw stone textures typical of the region. Large portions of the exterior walls have been opened to blur the boundaries between indoors and outdoors. At the main entrance, a 200-year-old golden console sets a distinctive tone. The sloped ceilings on the second floor enhance the rustic style of the bedrooms. Originally a barn, the villa exemplifies rustic Tuscan architecture with its traditional elements complemented by modern features, including a spa in the basement. Traditional materials such as locally sourced Rapolano travertine, oak, and stone are used, while contemporary touches are evident in the kitchen design, modern light fixtures in the living paces, and high-end bathroom details. The result is a retreat that harmoniously merges traditional and modern Tuscan architecture, creating a space thatis both bright and inviting.
