The castle is located- inside the area called Valtiberina, a rural valley that takes its name from the Tiber River. It is a rural and almost untouched natural area rich in history, being the birthplace of artists such as Piero della Francesca and Michelangelo Buonattori. This destination is in the vicinity of Anghiari Arezzo and Cortona, with restaurants, bars, wine bars, and gelaterias. The region includes part of Tuscany, Umbria and Marche. It boasts the artificial lake of Montedoglio in the immediate neighbourhood and the lake Trasimeno in a little more than one hour’s drive.
